Listening - in every sense of the word - will be the key to seek out intention within the movement, and the pleasure in surprising oneself by making the conceivable and the inconceivable visible.”
Ever since 1994, Corinne Garcia has been regularly involved in Mathilde Monnier’s productions. She has also worked with other choreographers, such as Emmanuelle Huynh, Déborah Hay, Thierry Baé, and Anne Lopez, and director Jean-François Peyret. She assists Maria La Ribot, as well as young choreographers from Morocco such as Bouchra Ouizgen. She choreographed a duet with Karim Zériahen, and by herself she created a trio for a young audience and later, a solo piece. She is often called to teach in establishments such as the CND in Lyon, CCNs in Montpellier and Rillieux-la-Pape, CNSM in Lyon, CDC in Toulouse, Institut Français in Marrakech, and for the Coline course in Istres. In parallel, she is training to become a qualified Feldenkrais practitioner. As well as being a dancer, performing for Georges Appaix, Régine Chopinot, Philippe Decouflé, Daniel Larrieu, Mathilde Monnier, Véronique Ros de la Grange, etc., Michèle Prélonge has also run several courses and workshops for dance professionals and amateurs.
