What is visible from the East? What is being said? Modern Russia is sending us multiple and contradictory visions of a country in the midst of important changes. As for Siberia, we have to admit that no one here has the faintest concept of what these faraway lands are like today.

From Siberia with love initié par la Fondation Mikhaïl Prokhorov dresse le portrait d’une culture russe contrastée. En associant des figures majeures de la scène russe indépendante et des artistes venus d’univers moins repérés, ce festival nous propose une vision complète de l’identité russe. Accueillir plus de 80 artistes russes aux Subsistances, c’est continuer à entendre et à voir comment tourne le monde ailleurs.

Du 15 au 21 novembre à Lyon
"Sibérie Inconnue"… est un festival multidisciplinaire. Il se déroulera aux Subsistances, à l’Opéra de Lyon, à l’Auditorium… En organisant ce festival dédié à la création russe d’aujourd’hui, la Fondation Mikhaïl Prokhorov entend montrer en France une nouvelle vision de la Russie, loin des clichés qui opposent nos deux cultures. Le festival Sibérie Inconnue est inscrit par le ministère de la Culture russe au programme officiel des événements culturels de l'année croisée France-Russie 2010.
