CREATION - THEATRE
Based on "Description de l'omme" by Jacques Rebotier.

“Umans are not alone in the world. There is an environment Umans’ surroundings, or the “rest of the world”, are: ountry, un, little and big birds, blue grass, river, huniverse, hinsects, hanimals. Umans are, could have been, almost were, kings of the huniverse.”

An actress, video, a performance to talk about humans and their disastrous manners, in poetry and with humor. « Working on issues related to agriculture and the balance of our ecosystem, it seems to me that our species has chosen another, more radical, productive, and especially lucrative route that puts living things in the same rank as common consumer goods and contributes to creating, little by little, a desert all around us.” After her performance Cent ans dans les champs, Hélène Mathon created this piece at the request of Les Subsistances to perform it in places that don’t usually have live theatre. The tour ends at Les Subsistances.
