"SWITCH"
COMPAGNIE -BAM-
Circus
25, 26 & 27 March 2010
Timorous people beware! Theres no holds barred in this first show by the collective -BAM-. SWITCH is a collective creation by six artists, and includes a teeterboard, a Chinese pole, a minimalistic circus ring... and then BAM! Their show is full of a rare energy, mixing together their various skills, forming a united and dazzling group. Within this global show however, six little stories are born, making space with humour and irony in the guise of modern superheroes, for the monstrous and fragile side of each of us.
Parcours
The six artists in BAM performed together for the first time during the "Pisteur dtoile" Festival in May 2007 in Obernai, showcasing a mix of their various specialised skills: acrobatics, Chinese pole and the teeterboard. Later that same year, they performed "Pression Culturelle" in July at the CNAC and again in September at the "Odysse Cirque" Festival in Bourg Saint Maurice. In December 2007, BAM presented Crash Test. Rhythm was used as a pulse, a heartbeat for the group. Since February 2009, the artists of the BAM collective split their time between touring 20me premire - their CNAC graduation show, and the production of their first collective performance.
